This CEU was created to educate sleep technicians and respiratory therapists on mechanical ventilation, recognizing symptoms in patients, and assisting them in getting the most appropriate treatment.
Duration: 60 minutes
This course is approved by the AARC, the BRPT and the CABRN for 1 credit hour.

To receive credit for this program you must:

  2. Pass the test with a score of 80% or higher

In this CEU course you will learn about the structures and functions of the upper airway, lower airway, and chest cavity. The respiratory function and respiratory mechanics. Resistance, compliance, perfusion and diffusion, dead space ventilation, shunt, and gas exchange.

To receive credit for this program you must:

  1. Complete the course
  2. Pass the test with a score of 80% or higher
  3. Complete the corresponding survey/evaluation

Please note that this is a continuation of the previously approved CEU program of the same name. You may not receive credit if you took this course within the past year
